Custom payment links

Now when you share your payment link with your client via socials or messengers, they will have a nice and custom preview of the invoice, including your business name and the invoice amount.

In the next feature iteration, we are going to make the colors custom so you can align it more to your business brand.

We updated our in-product referral functionality so now you can add a personal note to your friends, telling them why you like Maroo 😍

Delete future payments

You scheduled your payments to contractors, freelancers or other business partners and set some date in the future and then decided to delete this payment. Now you can do that even if your recipient already accepted the payment. Once you delete payment, automatic notifications will be sent to both sides.

Unified Payment Settings

Regardless of how the payment is made (via invoice, outgoing payment or your branded direct link) - you have one center of payment settings where you control how do you want to get paid and who covers the processing costs. Check it out here

Create Invoice: updated design + Improved experience

You will notice new improved design where we slightly boxed specific elements based on the following logic

In addition, we added auto-split feature for payment milestones. This will help to speed up the invoice creation process + minimize errors. Let us know your feedback if you like it 😊

Create Invoice: Past dates available

When you create or edit invoices, now you are able to choose invoice dates in the past (before system logic restricted it). This way you can create invoices that were paid in the past and immediately mark them as paid to have a full picture of your payment relationship with your clients.

Send Payments: Improved experience

We heard your feedback and extended the drop down to 7 contacts so it's more convenient to search for your freelancers or suppliers. Try it yourself here

Improved payments

There is no more delay when searching for your contacts in the drop down list when making a payment

Simplified outgoing payments

Now when you want to send a payment you just need to choose the recipient, amount, preferred payment method and a date. It can be either today or in the future, this way you can schedule your outgoing payment in one go

Payments Expiration

Now when you send a payment and it was not accepted in 7 days, payment link will automatically expire. This will help to avoid double payments months after they were originally sent

"Memo to Business" in the confirmation emails

Every email confirming your payment to another business now has your memo what the payment was made for. This is very handy if you are sharing your Maroo account with multiple employees or accountants
